NYC Virtual Easter Parade
The city’s festive annual Easter Parade will be virtual for the second year in a row to keep things Covid-19 safe.
But you can still claim glory by posting your best Easter bonnet and finery to Instagram. Tag it with #EasterOnFifth by 5 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 4. Winners will be announced at 6 p.m. The prize? A one-night stay in a deluxe room at the Pierre Hotel on Fifth Avenue, plus a continental breakfast for two.

NYSoM Easter Eggstravaganza

Eggstravaganza with the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine
The bad news: the popular egg dying event at the Cathedral is not happening this year. The good news: the church’s educator Ashley Frenkel created a video tutorial on how to color Easter eggs naturally, using color sources such as turmeric, onion skins, teas, cabbage, beets and coffee!

Barnyard Egg Hunt at Queens County Farm Museum
The Queens County Farm Museum is hosting its annual egg hunt with social distancing built in. (Timed tickets will be sold for egg hunts throughout the day.) Spread out on the farm’s 47 acres of outdoor space, visit with the farm’s animals and hop on a hayride. Bring your own basket if you can. Food vendors will be on the farm all day selling treats. Advance tickets are required, and guests must follow Covid-19 safety protocol.
